Hehehehee, Just pokein' fun. Greetings Ladies & Gentleman. I have noticed that there are quite a few 'Davids' in our fine gathering. To be democratic about this, I'm thinking about a number between 1 & 10, each will pick a number from that range. The farthest away from the target number will have to be BUBBA. ;D. Contributions to the group news letter brings immunity. I would make a certificate for the BUBBA award, for the most boneheaded post but nobody would see it, they'd be on my wall. XBONES, YG748, Do you mind if I use your banner to head your artical in the news letter? I was also thinking of you as editor, of course we will run it under Roger's nose before it goes public. I have the templates done, but still needs work. I had to work at home to get my 40 due to an ice storm, I know we are panzies, but 3" of ice, shuts Dallas down . BTW, nice piece you sent.

Hold on Rog, he wants to run it under your nose to see if you can still smell the BBQ sauce he spilled on it.
That said, lets give credit where credit is due. This baby belongs to P. Although I thought of it, he is the work horse. He is putting this thing togather. Like Preston told me, if this is going to be an ongoing deal, we will need many members to help out. I'd like to see Roger burn up his keyboard adding new YG numbers to the group.
P, you can use the banner or anything else that you need to use. Hey Ron, (YG897), you might want to write something on your DX contacts for the next issue if you want. Rich (YG007), you could even write an article on what trouble you went through to get Stephen King's autograph for me. hehehehehehe!!
As for the Bubba award, P, you better be VERY careful. You don't want me to drive to Texas and open up a can of Alabama Whoop Azz do you? ;D ;D ;D
My quarter is spent...........

Hehehehe! As I figgure it, there are two places you don't want to come to. 1.) Florida; bogus elections, and exploding rockets overhead 2.) Texas; 40 years later we still can't figure out who shot Kennedy, and if you cross the state line in a hurry, you'll burn up. Alabama huh, anywhere near Anniston? My wife has a real good friend that lives there, she had an Amazon Ringtail Parrot to give us, as she was allergic to it. Like a bonhead I didn't want to drive 22 hours on a weekend to get it. I was horrorified to find she had no takers on a $2000 bird, and had it put to sleep. Those who know me, know we have 7 exotic birds, hind sight, I'd have it here with me. Sorry ya'll , I lost a dear friend this week.

I too am sorry for your loss P, left you a post on the other thread. Two other places: Arkansas; NEVER, NEVER buy land there....just ask Bill. Georiga; someone might ask you to squeel like a pig. For those that remember the movie Deliverence, a lot of it was filmed there. I am about 25 miles north of Aniston. My wife works at a hospital about 4 miles from there. They are fixing to start up a BIG chenical weapons incenirator there. We had our plastic and duct tape ready long before the rest of the nation. Schools around here have already had evacuation drills, we have civil defence sirens testing....all that good stuff. THEN, we find out it is a possible terriorst target! I think I'm ready to move to Montana or Idaho.
